Suzy Shuster, interview

Who is Suzy Shuster?

Suzy Shuster is an American broadcaster. She got her start in sports broadcasting as an intern at the 1994 Final Four, broadcast on CBS. She was educated at Columbia University and graduated with a degree in History & Art History in 1994. Shuster is married to NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen and currently employed by both ABC and NBA networks as a reporter.

  • Apparently there are really attractive women out there who finds dorky ESPN anchor Rich Eisen handsome. Or at least bangable enough to send him bikini pictures of themselves via email in hopes of hooking up with him (as the kids would say) later on. Good grief! Women out there must be really desperate! Such is the sad, sad situation of local Philly anchor Alycia Lane, who got caught sending bikini pictures of herself to Eisen, except — dum dum dum — the ESPN dork shares an email account with his wife, ABC college football sideline reporter Suzy Shuster. (I told you he was a dork. Who shares an email account with the wife?) And, yup, you guessed it, the wife checked the email and found Lane’s emails, bikini pictures included, first.

ALYCIA LANE ARRESTED, PUNCHES COP

December 16, 2007 -- A foxy Philly anchorwoman - who once e-mailed sexy swimsuit snaps to a married TV talking head - became an anger woman today, calling a female cop a "dyke bitch" and slugging her in the face, law-enforcement sources said.

According to the Philadelphia Daily News:

She was nabbed at 2:04 a.m. at 17th Street and 9th Avenue in lower Manhattan, said New York City police spokesman Sgt. Carlos Nieves. Lane, 35, her current honey, Q102 morning host Chris Booker, and another couple were in a cab behind a slow-moving unmarked cop car, the New York Post reported. One of the males jumped out and headed to the police vehicle, screaming, “I don’t care if you’re a cop, drive faster!” the newspaper said.

The female cop asked her to step back and that’s when Lane lost it, according to the Post. According to the police complaint, the Emmy-winning anchor yelled at the female police officer, “I don’t give a f— who you are, I’m a f—ing TV reporter, you f—ing dyke.”

Then she walloped the officer in the face, the sources said.

ALYCIA LANE

Alycia Lane has been an anchor of CBS 3's Eyewitness News at 6 and 11 p.m. since September 2003.
An Emmy-Award winner, she is also featured on "A Woman's View," a weekly series that showcases women's issues.

In May 2007, Lane became the center of a national media story, when reports surfaced that Lane emailed pictures of herself and friends in a bikini to the NFL Network's Rich Eisen to an account that he shared with his wife, Suzy Shuster. Shuster's email response went public. Lane, however, insisted the pictures were harmless and that she and Eisen have been platonic friends for nearly 10 years, and that they regularly exchange e-mail and photos.
